Getting here, to Weston-super-Mare, could not be easier, just off the M5 and 20 miles from Bristol it has great transport links. Whether you are driving, travelling by train or bus – we have all the details you need below. 

The bay is varied with sand dunes between Royal Sands and Uphill, traditional seaside attractions around the main pier, a marine lake for open water swimming and a cosier more relaxed feel towards Birnbeck pier. Bring your cameras because Weston-super-Mare has some of the best sunsets you will see.

Driving to the venues

  1. Exit the M5 at Junction 21 (signed for Weston-super-Mare, A370).
  2. Follow the A370 towards Weston-super-Mare.
    • You’ll pass through a couple of roundabouts; just keep following signs for Weston-super-Mare (Town Centre).
  3. Stay on the A370 (dual carriageway) for around 3 miles.
  4. As you approach the seafront area, follow signs for Town Centre / Sea Front.
  5. Turn right at the sea front, going past the Grand Pier.
  6. At Cabot Court Hotel, turn right, past the College.
  7. Take the second left on to West Street and you are in the Village.

Getting here by train

Several trains an hour from Bristol and Taunton direct to Weston station.

Weston Super Mare train station is situated 15 minutes walk away from the Grove Village area of WSM.

The train station has a taxi rank immediately outside. 

Getting here by bus

A number of buses serve Weston Super Mare from the surrounding areas including Bristol (X1), Burnham-on-Sea, Portishead and Bridgwater.
